Tongues

Year: 2005
Materials: cor-ten steel

Tongues is an indoor sculpture project, designed on commission by an engineering design firm in Venafro (IS). The installation consists of three large tongues imagined in cor-ten steel, designed to be placed next to the imperial Roman wall found during the restoration activities of the building housing the studio and to be housed in the empty space generated between the Roman wall and the modern wall. The structure consists of three cantilevered uprights, each about three meters long. The concept of the work was developed in collaboration with Francesco Landolfi.
